ALT BLK ERA are genre-bending sister duo, Nyrobi and Chaya, who unapologetically merge the musical boundaries of Rock by incorporating Rap, DnB, Electronica and Operatic sounds.

Their dynamic sound and impactful stage presence has meant that in less then two years of releasing music as independent artists the teenagers have already headlined the 2023 BBC Introducing stages at Reading & Leeds festivals, performed at Boomtown Fair and on the Truth stage at Glastonbury Festival.

Nyrobi & Chaya also played the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in support of Lord of the Lost and have also been nominated for two Youth Music Awards, ‘Rising Star’ and ‘Best Live Performance’.

Their debut EP ‘Freak Show’ was released in September 2023 and has been received well by their listeners as well as industry professionals.
