Watford six-piece Lakes make mathy-emo that’s both intricate and infectious. Having supported American Football, Delta Sleep and most recently The Get Up Kids, the band have built a reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting DIY acts with their blend of layered rhythms, shifting time signatures and soaring melodies. Their new album Slow Fade (released via Big Scary Monsters) is a dynamic hook-filled statement, featuring guest appearances from Georgia Casey (High Regard) and Cory Bracken (American Football).
OUR STORY
2000trees was created in 2007 by music festival veterans after attending all the main industry events over a decade. Starting with a simple passion for music and the desire to create a dynamic, energetic and accessible event that put the festival-goer at the top of their priorities.
